Isabel and Tyler eloped outside of London, Ontario, in the small town of St. Thomas on a beautiful Wildflower farm. Isabel and Tyler were so excited to be married. From our first conversation, their focus was on getting married. They were focused on the experience and the excitement to start their married life together. They decided to elope with their close friends and to live stream their friends and family who could not travel to celebrate their marriage in person. Their elopement was so intimate, beautiful and fun.
During their ceremony, you could see the excitement and love shining through their expressions. They wrote each other vows that they read to themselves. The moment they became officially married, the look of amazement and happiness on their faces was almost overwhelming in the most beautiful way. We got some fun photos with their friends, video chatted family to celebrate their elopement and then took some time for wedding portraits.
We had so much fun during their wedding portraits exploring the wildflower farm. From the flowers to finding shady spots to enjoying the chickens, there were so many photo opportunities. It was so relaxing having the farm to ourselves and walking around finding beautiful backdrops while taking photos. Isabel and Tyler were so happy, relaxed and focused on each other. They had such a balance of those soft moments of wonder, like are we married finally, and those fun moments of dancing by a field of wildflowers. I love being able to step back and photograph a couple in those moments of joy after their ceremony when it hits them; they are married, they did this, now it’s time to celebrate.
I loved photographing them, it felt like hanging out with friends, and I knew the photos would be some of my favourites.
